SPYA 506 Interventions in Schools with Multicultural Students

The course examines cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic variables that impact interventions in schools with multicultural students. Through readings, discussions, inquiry, and field activities, candidates examine cultural factors that foster understanding of learners, deepen cultural awareness of self and others, and increase cultural competence necessary for performing ethical school psychological practices.
