NRS 516 Professional Role Development I/Pre-licensure AE

Using the nursing program outcomes, students explore the discipline of nursing. Students will study the historical development, clinical reasoning, theoretical base, ways of knowing, and relationship of nursing to the health care system. Legal and ethical boundaries of nursing will be introduced. Students study communication theory and learn ways to communicate effectively as a nurse.
