2.5 Incomplete Grade

A student who does not complete all course requirements may, at the discretion of the faculty of record, coordinate with the instructor(s) for a temporary grade of Incomplete. The faculty of record and Program Director will base this decision on the work completed so far, the current grade, and any extenuating circumstances; the student must be in good academic standing to be considered. The student must complete all remaining requirements within the timeline set by the instructor, or the Incomplete will convert to a grade. Students will be notified in writing of any grade changes

If the incomplete course is a prerequisite for a course the following semester, the Incomplete must be resolved within two weeks of that course's start — otherwise, the "I" automatically converts to an "F," and the student must drop any courses for which it was a prerequisite.

If a student has received an Incomplete in a clinical experience and has not completed the required clinical education course within the stipulated time, the student must petition the Program faculty to continue into the next academic semester.
