NUR 204L Accelerated Foundations of Nursing Practice Lab
This course is designed to allow the student to practice and then demonstrate fundamental nursing and assessment skills with the goal of competency. The integration of theoretical concepts into the laboratory experience will focus on the development of the nursing student to systematically analyze assessment data to recognize patterns of patient needs necessary to plan and implement nursing care. The course prepares students for the role of the professional nurse in the clinical setting. Pre-requisite(s): SCI 102, SCI 200/200L, SCI 305/305L, SCI 311/311L and Chemistry.
