Topics selected from projective geometry, non-Euclidean geometry, algebraic geometry, convexity, differential geometry, foundations of geometry, combinatorial topology. This is the first course in a sequence of three: Mth 531, Mth 532, and Mth 533; with departmental approval, this sequence may be repeated for credit. Also offered for undergraduate-leve credit as Mth 431.
