SySc 527 Discrete System Simulation
The primary focus is on the application of discrete system simulation to real world problems using the Arena simulation language. The mathematical basis for discrete system simulation is probability theory and queuing theory. It is used extensively in the fields of operations research, civil engineering, and industrial engineering. Students apply the tools to projects within their fields of interest. Also offered as SySc 627 and may be taken only once for credit.
Prerequisite
graduate standing or consent of the instructor.
