PSY 325 Psychology of Play and Therapeutic Applications
This course deals with play across age spectrums and in differing contexts. It includes play universals, types and forms of play, theories of play, and functions of play in normative development as well as in atypical development. The use of play in assessment and behavior change is studied. Other topics include methods and materials of play and the role of play in learning and development.
