PHRM 603 Pharmaceutics I

Introduces the principles and technologies applied in the preparation of various pharmaceutical dosage forms. It involves the application of physicochemical characteristics of active ingredients and excipients to the design, development, formulation, stabilization, and quality control of pharmaceutical dosage forms. This course also presents compendial methods of evaluation of different dosage forms as well as regulations and standards governing manufacturing of pharmaceuticals.  Pharmaceutics I is the first in a series of two related courses.
