ENGL 086 Academic Advanced Reading for ESL Students

Students will continue to develop their reading skills in ENGL 086 with an emphasis on academic material. Reading is approached as an integral part of an ESL student's overall English language learning, not as an isolated skill. In addition to reading comprehension and vocabulary skill building, students will respond to information and concepts from a diversity of assigned materials, both orally and in writing.
