HA-640 Quality, Safety, Innovation, and Improvement: The Key to Conquering Healthcare's Quintuple Aim

Prerequisites: HAH-620, HAH-630, HA-625. This course introduces learners to the fundamental concepts of quality and safety, process and performance improvement, population health, social determinants of health, health equity, and value creation. Learners receive models and tools for developing research questions and hypotheses, designing studies, and analyzing and visualizing data, project management, qualitative and quantitative analysis, decision-making, lean methodologies, clinical and operational measurement and benchmarking, action research, patient experience and satisfaction, and team member experience and engagement. Learners consider how to assess information validity and reliability and interpret data to optimize evidence-based decision-making.
