NUR 301 Genetics and Genomics in Healthcare

This course will discuss the integration of genetic/genomic information into nursing practice, including ethical, legal, psychological, cultural, and social issues are examined. The role of the nurse as advocate for individual rights regarding access to and use of genetic information, decision-making, and actions are emphasized throughout the course. Pre-requisite(s): None.
