4.17 Course Evaluations
Student input is a valuable part of curriculum evaluation. Course evaluations help Program faculty assess course effectiveness and guide revisions to individual courses and the overall Program; students are also encouraged to share ongoing feedback with course coordinators and/or the Program Director.
Formal evaluations of each course and instructor are collected at the end of every term, using a standard University format. Responses are tallied into a percentage score and forwarded to the Program Director, then to the course instructor — who does not see the results until after grades are submitted.
Students are also asked to provide written comments on the course and instructor, which the Program Director and instructor will review.
