In order to ascertain the credentials of the faculty member before the initial appointment, the official transcript from the institution of higher education that awarded the candidate’s highest degree must be submitted to Human Resources. If a degree is obtained during the course of Institute employment, please complete the
degree update form and submit a final official transcript to the Office of Human Resources.
If a requirement for practice in Massachusetts is state licensure or certification in the profession, the faculty member must show proof of current active licensure or certification before commencing teaching activities that require the faculty to teach in clinical practice areas. Information about the Boards of Registration and their requirements may be obtained in the various program offices. Proof of licensure and/or certification is maintained in program offices.
