LAE 307 Literature for Children

A general overview recommended for students entering the teaching profession. Survey of best of the old and new in prose and verse form the nursery level through elementary grades. Techniques of presentation are discussed. Major emphasis on content and quality of literature. Pre-requisite: LAE 102 or equivalent. Co-requisite(s): None. 5 quarter hours Counts in the Humanities or Literature Area of General Education Requirements.
