PSYD 804 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

(Formerly PP 8014). A theoretical and practice-focused course on the fundamentals of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including philosophical foundations, theoretical antecedents, ACT theoretical and clinical conceptualization, and treatment applications. Conceptualization and practice development is stressed via didactics, demonstrations, experiential exercises, therapy role-playing, and videotapes. Pre-requisite(s): None.
