d. Informal Resolution

The University encourages the resolution of concerns through informal, collegial processes whenever appropriate. These may include direct discussion, consultation with academic leadership, or facilitated dialogue supported by the Provost’s Office.

Informal resolution is not required where it would be ineffective or inappropriate, particularly in situations involving significant adverse actions.
