PSY 306 Theories of Personality

This course introduces students to the numerous viewpoints on the nature and development of personality. This will include various theories such as psychoanalytic, behaviorist, existential, interpersonal, humanistic, cognitive, biological/genetic and social. The techniques of personality assessment and psychotherapy will also be addressed. (Personality/Clinical Psychology). Counts in the Behavioral Science Area of General Education Requirements. Pre-requisite(s): One previous psychology course. Co-requisite(s): None. 5 quarter hours
