PA-820 Family Medicine Clerkship

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all first-year courses and any previous clerkships.  The family medicine clerkship is a required five week clinical experience caring for patients across the lifespan. The student will have the opportunity to practice the application of their knowledge and skills in the evaluation and management of problems encountered in ambulatory family medicine settings to include acute and chronic care of pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. Students will learn under the supervision of a program-determined preceptor and his or her designee(s).
