PA-821 Internal Medicine Clerkship
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all first-year courses and any previous clerkships. The internal medicine clerkship is a required five-week clinical experience caring for adult and geriatric patients. The student will have the opportunity to apply and expand their knowledge and skills in the evaluation and management of problems encountered in internal medicine settings with an emphasis on the prevention, diagnosis, and management of complex chronic medical conditions. Students will learn under the supervision of a program-determined preceptor and his or her designee(s).
