PA-825 Emergency Medicine Clerkship
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all first-year courses and any previous clerkships. The emergency medicine clerkship is a required five-week clinical experience in the evaluation and management of acutely ill, traumatic and emergent patient presentations in the emergency department. Students will work as a member of the emergency medicine team where they will apply and expand their knowledge and skills providing routine, urgent and emergent care. Students will learn under the supervision of a program-determined preceptor and his or her designee(s).
